FAIRHOPE, Alabama — Eastern Shore Affordable Houses, Habitat for Humanity, Ecumenical Ministries Inc., Community Action, Baldwin County churches, ACT-II, Baldwin County Homebuilders Association and the Baldwin Housing Alliance spent more than a year designing the countywide home repair collaborative called Repair Baldwin.
Staff of Habitat, Ecumenical Ministries and ESAH will explain the entity and its vision at a light lunch, noon to 1:30, Tuesday, Oct. 25. It will be held at New Fellowship Worship Center, 17535 Little Rock Road; Foley/Mills.
“The church role is mandatory for success of this vision,” Pastor Bennie Richardson, clergy coordinator said. “This role doesn’t require monetary participation from churches, nor does it place burdens on church staff.” Richardson pastors Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Foley.
Eastern Shore and North Baldwin clergy and laity are welcome. For their convenience, though, an Eastern Shore and a North Baldwin meeting is also scheduled.
