Clark County (WQOW) - A Clark County man falls victim to what authorities are calling a home repair scam.

A 68-year old Humbird man told investigators Christopher Joles came to his home and said he was there to finish some repair work that had been contracted by the man’s brother, who had since passed away.

Joles and another man allegedly spent an hour putting screws in a roof, then presented a bill for more than $8,000. The man paid the bill, then notified the sheriff’s department several days later.
