Vermont lawmakers will learn today just how much it might end up costing the state to fix roads and bridges damaged by Irene.

The House and Senate transportation committees will gather at the statehouse for a progress report.

Lawmakers will also learn what the prospects are for federal funding to help pay for road repairs.
