Gut job starting from the attic down to the 2nd floor. This video shows the gut job, All walls , celings removed. Alll electrical and plumbing was also removed. This also shows the Roof tear off, skylights installed, new collar ties, furring of the existing 2×4 rafters to 2×6 to accept R19 insullation. Also some of the new framing. The 2nd floor will be a 1 bedroom apartment with bath off of the bedroom, kitchen and great room with 15 foot cathedral ceilings and exposed beams. House was built in 1880 semi remodeled in the 50′s. …
