The Eastwood Company today launched its new Battery Sustainer line designed to maintain a 12-volt battery at full charge in cold weather or in storage, without the risk of overcharging or causing permanent damage.

The Eastwood Battery Sustainer Plus has both 2-Amp and 10-Amp output settings that can be used to charge a wide range of 12-volt batteries such as cars, trucks, lawn mowers, all terrain vehicles, motorcycles, and boats. The high output microprocessor-controlled 10-Amp charger will recharge dead batteries as well as maintain a stored battery in peak condition. Eastwood also offers the standard Battery Sustainer which features 2-Amp output, for those not requiring 10-Amp charging capabilities.

The Eastwood Company today launched its new Battery Sustainer line, Eastwood Battery Sustainer Plus and the standard Eastwood Battery Sustainer. Unlike typical trickle chargers, both of Eastwood’s new battery sustainers can be used to charge any 12-volt battery without the risk of overcharging or causing permanent damage.

The Eastwood Battery Sustainer Plus has both 2-Amp and 10-Amp output settings. It can be used to charge, and maintain while in storage, a wide range of 12-volt batteries, such as cars, trucks, lawn mowers, all terrain vehicles, motorcycles,and boats.

The high output microprocessor-controlled technology will recharge dead batteries and cutoff when the battery is fully charged as well as maintain a stored battery in peak condition. Easy to use, the Eastwood Battery Sustainers offer reverse polarity protection for all batteries, and desulphation found in older batteries.

If the 10-Amp charging capabilities are not needed, Eastwood’s standard Battery Sustainer offers all of the same features with a 2 -Amp output.

Both units also have an LED display that shows the charging cycle and battery status. Three connectors are provided for easy hook up – a set of alligator clips, a set of connectors to hardwired the vehicle, and a 12-volt vehicle accessory port adapter.
